	Emilee Barnette, Intern Emilee is a senior at the University of Charleston, and will be graduating in May 2011 with a BA in Interior Design and a Minor in Business. She began her internship with Contemporary Galleries in May 2010 and will continue working part-time throughout her last year of school. Emilee is the president of the U of C ASID Student Chapter for the 2010-2011 school year. In her limited free time, she loves Mountaineer football, traveling, cooking, and her four yorkies.
	Pam Blankenship, Interior Designer BA Interior Design, University of Charleston Pam is an Interior Designer who has been with Contemporary Galleries since March of 2010. She was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, and now resides in Charleston's South Hills. Pam sings in the chorus for the Basillica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and is a member of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus. 	Jennifer Bubar-Simmons, Interior Design BA Interior Design, University of Charleston Jennifer is an Interior Designer who has been with Contemporary Galleries since February 2005. 	Kristin Carnes, Interior Designer BS Interior Design, West Virginia University Kristin grew up in Beckley West Virginia and graduated magna cum laude from WVU's accredited Interior Design program in 2008. She studied for a semester in London and, in addition to England, has traveled to Italy, Germany, France, and Ireland. Kristin now lives in Charleston, and has been employed by Contemporary Galleries since September 2010. She is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and an advocate for sustainability. She hopes to one day build and live in a shipping container house. 	Amy Childress, Interior Designer / Sales BS Interior Design, West Virginia University Amy is an Interior Designer who specializes in healthcare and higher education. She grew up in Spencer, West Virginia and has been employed with Contemporary Galleries since 1997. Amy stays very busy with her two young children, and is an active volunteer at their school. 	Pat Crickard, Senior Sales Territory Manager BBA Marketing, Marshall University Pat is a Territory Manager covering North Carolina and parts of West Virginia, where he promises to complete projects on time and on budget. He was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia and now resides in Mocksville, North Carolina. Pat is very active in his community; he is a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Teacher's Assistant for Catholic Religious Education, and a recreational basketball league coach. 	Kelly Dailey-Davis, Interior Designer / Sales BA Interior Design, University of Charleston Kelly is an Interior Designer covering parts of Virginia and eastern West Virginia. She grew up in Parkersburg and now lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband and two daughters. She is active in her local children's theater group, working backstage on sets and props. Kelly spends all of her free time shuttling her daughters to field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse; she also enjoys supervising her husband as he completes her endless list of home and garden renovation projects. 	Katrina Fischer, Interior Designer BS Interior Design, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Katrina has been with Contemporary Galleries since 1998. She grew up in Western Pennsylvania and now lives in the South Hills area of Charleston. Katrina is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and in her spare time enjoys baking and cake decorating. 	Mary Beth Hoover, Interior Designer BS Interior Design, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Mary Beth has been with Contemporary Galleries since 1997, specializing in healthcare, government, and VAMC accounts. She grew up in Pennsylvania, but now happily calls Charleston's East End home. Mary Beth is an active volunteer with East End Main Street; she is currently Chairperson of the Design Committee, and a member of both the Advisory Board and the Executive Committee. 	Leon Ivey, Interior Design / Sales BA Interior Design, University of Charleston Leon has been with Contemporary Galleries since September 1996. He lives in Beckley and covers most of our southern West Virginia territory. His broad experience includes everything from healthcare and higher education to corporate design. 	Jennifer Kirkpatrick, Sales / Interior Design BS Interior Design, LaRoche College Jennifer has been with Contemporary Galleries since September 1994. She works with many government agencies, and is our West Virginia State Contract specialist. 	Lucinda Kowalewksi, Account Manager / Interior Designers BS Interior Design, Western Michigan University Lucinda is a Designer and Account Manager with Contemporary Galleries, where she has been employed since October 1995. 	Jennifer Pierce, Interior Designer BS Interior Design, Radford University Jennifer is a recent graduate of CIDA-accredited Radford University. She began her employment with Contemporary Galleries in June 2010. Jennifer lives in Lynchburg, Virginia and works with our Virginia sales team from her home office. 	Leo Russell, President / Installer BS, West Virginia State University MS, Marshall University Leo Russell was born and raised in Charleston. Before opening Contemporary Galleries in 1976, Leo was a high school teacher and coach for three years, and taught at the college level for three years. He has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, and 36 years of experience with contract furniture. As well as being the company's owner and president, Leo is a Certified Furniture Installer, with broad experience in all aspects of commercial installation. 	Mary Russell, Vice President BS Interior Design, University of Cincinnati Mary is the Vice President of Contemporary Galleries. She has been a professional member of IIDA since 1973 and is a Herman Miller PEAK Certified Product Application Specialist. Mary has extensive experience in space planning with an emphasis on systems furniture and healthcare design. Mary was born and raised in Charleston, where she still resides. 	Gary Sheff, Facilities Consultant BS Business, West Virginia State University Gary has been with Contemporary Galleries for twenty years. He is a Certified Application Specialist, focusing on healthcare applications. Gary has served on many community boards - He is currently president of the Charleston Church Recreation Association and the Chevra Kadisha of B'nai Jacob Synagogue, and former president of the Family Counseling Connection. He is also a certified basketball official for both high school and college levels and participates in the Read Aloud program for the kindergarten class at Chandler Elementary School. 	Shawna Lee Sigmon, Interior Design / Sales BA Interior Design, University of Charleston Shawna has been with Contemporary Galleries since 2002, specializing in government and private healthcare, federal and county government, and higher education design. She is an adjunct professor for the University of Charleston Design Department, teaching Contract Design to junior-level students. Raising her brood of five boys leaves Shawna very little free time; she is an active parent volunteer at their school, serving as homeroom parent and yearbook advisor, and donating her graphic design skills. 	Stefani Andrews, Retail Sales Associate Stefani is a part-time Retail Sales Associate who has been working at Contemporary Galleries since summer 2009. She is a single mother of a teenage daughter, a freelance artist, and a student at West Virginia State University. She volunteers her time with many community events and artists' endeavors. 	Mary Anne Crickard, Retail Division Manager BS Accounting, West Virginia University Mary Anne grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and has been with Contemporary Galleries since 1978. She started out as a bookkeeper, and has gradually morphed into Manager of our retail division. Mary Anne is very active in the community, and is especially committed to East End Main Street; she has served as the board president for several years. Mary Anne has two American Saddlebred show horses that bring her great joy. In her spare time, she enjoys working in the yard of the home she shares with her husband, Leo, and their three cats. 	Megan Douglas, Retail Sales Associate Marshall University Megan Douglas is a new employee with Contemporary Galleries. Megan is from Charleston and graduated from Marshall University. Megan has worked with non-profits as a retail manager in past years, she is now pursuing her passion for design. She serves on the Marketing Committee for Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. She merchandises the ReStore for events and re-purposes items for resale. Megan spends her free time traveling, painting, decorating and dabbling in photography. 	Karen Spurlock, Retail Sales Associate Karen was born in Denmark and moved to the United States in 1972. She began working at Contemporary Galleries in 1980, when she relocated to West Virginia. 	Alisa Vear, Residential Sales Associate Alisa is a Sales Consultant for Contemporary Galleries' residential division. She grew up in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York, and moved to West Virginia in 1989 to attend the University of Charleston. She has since discovered a passion for design, and hopes to someday go back to school for Interior Design. Alisa is a single mother to her wonderful, artistic, and very personable daughter, Natalie. Alisa is also a talented jewelry maker, and her designs are sometimes available for viewing in our retail space. 	David Cornelius, Warehouse Manager Dave C. has been with Contemporary Galleries since the early 80s. His main job titles include warehouse manager, installation crew manager, and installation scheduler. You can contact David at (304) 344-8774.
	Lisa Harless, Accounts Payable Lisa has been with Contemporary Galleries as Accounts Payable since April of 2005. She was previously the Business Manager of a local radio station for 21 years. She was born and raised in the Kanawha Valley, where she still resides today. Lisa and her husband compete in bass fishing tournaments and look for every opportunity to travel, both within West Virginia and elsewhere. 	Mark Jones, Controller CPA, Marshall University Mark grew up in Madison, West Virginia and is a 1980 graduate of Marshall University. As a Certified Public Accountant, Mark handles the finances here at Contemporary Galleries. Mark is a member of the School Board at Cross Lanes Christian School. 	Becky McKinney, Order Entry Becky has been with Contemporary Galleries since 1988. She began as a receptionist and then transformed to take on many responsibilities within the company. In the past, she has worked as a project manager and sales representative. 	John Mishoe, HR / Payroll Manager BBA Accounting, Marshall University MBA Management, Marshall University John handles Human Resources and payroll for Contemporary Galleries, where he has been employed since 2002. John was born in Huntington, and lived in New Orleans, Atlanta, and San Rafael, California before returning to West Virginia to attend Marshall University. He is a United States Army Veteran, having served in Quang Tri Vietnam from 1970-1971. After receiving his MBA from Marshall, John worked in the school supply and equipment industry for 25 years. John was a member of the Board of Trustees for American Legion Post 16 in Huntington for five years. 	Linda Nelson, Customer Service Representative Linda is a Customer Service Representative who has been with Contemporary Galleries since 1992. She works out of our West Side warehouse, handling service requests and keeping everything running smoothly. Previously, she worked at a local bank as Supervisor of the Checking Department and came to work for Contemporary Galleries after a design project that we completed there!
